2 lbs ground beef
1 qt tomato juice
1-29 oz tomato puree
1-15 oz red kidney beans, drained
1-15 oz pinto beans, drained
1½ cups chopped onion
½ cup diced celery
¼ cup diced green bell pepper
¼ cup chili powder (less for milder taste)
1 tsp ground cumin
1½ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp sugar
⅛ tsp cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef and drain. Combine with the remaining ingredients in a 6-qt pot.
Cover the pot and let the chili simmer for 1 to 1½ hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
