3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. pitted dates, finely chopped
1 c. nuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, brown sugar, egg, and milk into large bowl. Beat until well blended. sift flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon into mixture. Add dates and nuts. Mix still stiff dough. Chill 3 hours or till firm.Roll onto floured surface 1/8 in thick and cut with desired cookie cutters. Bake 375º 8-10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
