9 eggs
¾ lb butter
1 lb sugar
1 lb cake flour
¼ cup wine
¼ cup whiskey
1 tsp mace
1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Sift baking powder, flour and mace together.
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time.
Fold in dry ingredients gradually with wine and whiskey mixture.
Bake in lightly greased loaf pan.

Bake at 325º for 1 hr,, 20 min.
