1-1½ lbs ground turkey
2 cloves garlic crushed/finely chopped
Olive oil
1 can (14oz) crushed tomatoes
1 cup tomato-based chili sauce
1½ tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp dried oregano
0.25 tsp black pepper
2 cans (15 oz) mixed beans, drained and rinsed

1. In a large pot, heat a small amount of olive oil on medium heat and then fry the garlic until fragrant. Then add ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.

2. Add crushed tomatoes, chili sauce, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, cumin, oregano, and pepper. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes – checking and stirring occasionally.

3. Add the drained and rinsed beans and cook for an additional 5 minutes to heat beans.

4. Serve in bowls and sprinkle with shredded cheese if desired.

Fun additions along with the beans depending on your personal preferences: chopped green peppers, frozen corn
