3 Whole Eggs
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Milk
½ Cup Butter (1 stick of margarine)
2 Cups Plain Flour
1½ Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Pinch of Salt©

Directions:

1. Beat Eggs & Sugar Together Until Very Light
2. Add Vanilla & Flour - Mix Well
3. Scald Milk In Top of Double Boiler With Butter
4. Add To The Above Mixture While Still Piping Hot
5. Bake In Greased/Floured Loaf Pan for 45 Minutes; Oven @ 350º
