2 c sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
5 apples, peeled, cored & thinly sliced
3 c flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 c of vegetable or canola oil
1/2 c orange juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
powdered sugar for dusting when cooled

Preheat oven to 350ºF, Grease and flour 10" Bundt pan

Stir together 1/3 c sugar and cinnamon in large bowl. Add apple slices & toss to coat.
In another bowl, stir flour together, rest of the sugar, baking powder & salt.

Beat together eggs and oil in a large bowl with electric mixer until smooth and well-blended. (Mixture will be thick).

Spread half of batter in prepared pan, then top with half of apple slices. Repeat with remaining half of batter and apple slices.

Bake until toothpick comes out clean from center, 75-80min

Transfer to a wire rack, let cool 1 hr. Loosen edges with a thin spatula and remove from pan. Let cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before slicing.
