2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup half and half cream
1/4 cup butter soft
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt

Topping
1/2 cup brown sugar packed
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup cold butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Directions:
Peel, cook, and mash the sweet potatoes. Beat the eggs and whisk in the sugar then add half and half. Add vanilla to the softened butter and mix it together. Add egg and butter mixtures to the sweet potatoes and add salt. Beat until light and fluffy. Pour sweet potato mixture into a baking dish.

Topping: Combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Fold in the pecans. Spread mixture on top of sweet potatoes. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes. The dish is ready when a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
