1 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 T. butter
1 cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp ginger
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
4 cups flour
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1. Beat eggs till fluffy. Add sugar, melted butter, vanilla and milk.
2. Add dry ingredients. Cover and refridgerate over night.
3. Fry in hot shortening, cut to ½"
