1C Soft Shortening (Part Butter)
1 C Sugar
2 Eggs

2 C Flour
2 tsp Cream of Tartar
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt

2T Sugar
2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400.

Mix first 3 ingredients together thoroughly. Sift together next 4 ingredients and then stir into egg mixture.

Roll into a ball the size of a walnut. Roll balls in a mixture of 2 T sugar & 2 tsp cinnamon. Place 2" apart on an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes. Do not overbake. The cookies will still be soft in the middle.

The cookies will puff up at first and then flatten out and crinkle as they cool.
