1½ c brown sugar
½ c butter
2 eggs
1 cup sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1½ or 2 c fresh rhubarb (cut into small pieces)
2½ c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add well beaten eggs and vanilla
Dissolve soda in sour milk. Add to the above ingredients, alternately with flour and salt that has been sifted together. Add rhubarb.
Put into a large pan and sprinkle with ½ cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

Bake at 350º F for 25 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.

Topping: ½ c brown sugar, 1 tbs flour, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp melted butter.
