4 cups flour
1 cup shortening
2 eggs, beaten
⅓ cup milk
1 T. vanilla
1 T. baking powder
1 cup sugar (heaping)
1 T. baking soda
½ T. salt
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix flour, shortening, baking powder and salt as for pie crust.
2. In another bowl, add baking soda to sugar, then beaten eggs, milk and vanilla.
3. pour sugar mixture into flour mixture and mix until smooth.
4. Roll out on floured board and cut into shapes.
5. Bake at 350ºF for 5-10 minutes.
6. Frost.
