6 eggs
½ butter or crisco
1 cup sugar
2 T Baking powder
2 tsp of Anise Flavor or lemon (I prefer anise)
3 cups flour

Directions:

Beat eggs with butter or crisco until light and fluffy
About 3 minutes
Add sugar, flour, baking powder, Mix (don’t overmix)
Add anise or lemon
Roll into small meatball size in shape (1 ½ - 2 inch)
Bake 400º for 8 min On parchment paper or greased cookie sheet pan
Let cool
FROSTING
Mix milk and confectioners sugar, enough so it’s not runny. Dip top of cookie in frosting and sprinkle with non-pareils or something festive.

Sift flour and baking powder so there is not any lumps.

Also do not mix final ingredients too long or cookies might be tough.

if there’s too many cookies freeze the rest before frosting. Freeze well in air tight container.
