2 packages yeast
1/4 cup warm water (for yeast)
1 cup milk
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
5 cups flour
2 eggs
1 Tablespoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in water, heat milk, don't boil, add sugar and salt in bowl. Pour mixture over and dissolve. Cool until lukewarm. Add 1 1/2 cup flour and beat, add yeast and eggs, add enough flour to make soft dough. Turn out on floured board and knead until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and let rise until doubled. Punch down and let rise 10 minutes.
