½ tsp salt
1 egg
½ cup flour
½ cup milk

If not crisp thin batter

1. Use heavy pan, fill half full with oil, heat to very hot.
2. Keep roset iron in oil at all times except when in use.
3. Drain on newspaper, use paper towel to tap iron on befor dripping.
4. Just dip on sides, do not cover top of iron.
