2 red peppers, seeded and finely diced
2 C fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
1 med onion, finely chopped
3/4 C sugar
1 small jalapeņo pepper, minced (is less spicy if seeds are removed)
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool and store in refrigerator. Serve with poultry or baked ham. Super with turkey at Thanksgiving.
I have tripled this recipe using a large pan, and then placed finished relish into small jars and given as a Christmas or hostess gift. Original recipe (above) makes 1-1/2 pints. Came originally from a quilters Christmas cookbook.
