Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 whole orange including rind (pick a bright orange one (washed clean)
1 whole apple (red or green), washed clean and cored
1 stick celery, washed and cut into chunks
1/2 C brown sugar
1/2 tsp ginger, or to taste
1/2 lemon
1/2 C - 1 C pecans, chopped
1 C golden raisins
cinnamon, if desired to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the orange, peeling and all, into eights. Do the same with the cored apple, lemon and celery.

Place into the blender, alternating the fruits. Set blender to grind and pulse several times until all is coarsely chopped.

Add sugar and pulse once more to blend. Taste to see if more sweetner is desired.

Remove mixture from blender. Fold in pecans and raisins by hand.

If desired, add a dash of cinnamon.

Chill and serve or if making for gifts, place in pretty small jars. A label should be added telling receivers to store in refrigerators.

Refrigerate leftovers.

Personal Notes:
This recipe was used by a co-worker, Dan Crane, who made it each year with his young daughters. This is a fun thing to help children make and give away to a teacher during the holidays.
