Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 unbaked 14-inch pizza crust
½ c. pizza sauce
8 slices of provolone, fontina, or mozzarella cheese or a combination of the three
10 slices of pepperoni or salami
1 tsp. dried oregano
2 T. grated Romano cheese (optional
1 beaten egg

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º F. Lightly grease a sheet pan or line with parchment paper.

Roll out the dough on a clean surface and allow to rest for 5 or 10 minutes. Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving about 1 inch on the edge. Top with sliced meat, then sliced cheese. Sprinkle oregano and Romano over all.

Then roll up the dough like a cinnamon roll. Pinch the edges to seal and lay seam side down on the prepared sheet pan. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with a bit of dry parsley. Make a few small slits in the top to let out the steam.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Slice like a loaf of bread and serve warm with extra warmed pizza or marinara sauce.

Personal Notes:
When you can't go out to your favorite pizza place, you learn to make your kitchen a close substitute. We already had been making our own pizza so this was definitely the next step. Turned out great!
