2 sticks butter
1 cup water
4 T. cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 stick butter
4 T. milk
4 T. cocoa
1 1-lb. box confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 2 sticks butter, 1 cup water and 4 tablespoons cocoa in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat. In a bowl, combine 2 cups sugar, 2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Pour the mixture from the saucepan into the dry mixture in the bowl. To this add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup sour cream. Mix well. Pour entire mixture into buttered jelly roll pan and bake at 375 degrees for 22 minutes. For the icing, boil 1 stick butter, 4 tablespoons milk and 4 tablespoons cocoa in saucepan. As soon as mixture boils, turn off heat. Then add box of confectioners sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to saucepan and mix well. If mixture is too stiff add a bit of milk to thin. Spread the warm icing on warm cake. Let cool before serving. Cut into squares. This cake freezes well.
