1 c. buttermilk
1 t. soda
3 c. sugar

2 c. pecans
4 T. butter
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the buttermilk and soda. Add sugar; cook to semi-soft stage. Add the pecans. Continue cooking unto soft ball stage. Add butter and vanilla. Cool, then beat until creamy. Do not stir or scrape the pan while cooking. Cool to 110' before beating. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
