2 1/2 c flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c sugar
1 tap. vanilla
1 egg
2 T. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together all dry ingredients, set aside. Cream together butter and shortening, gradually add sugarand continue beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and egg. Add flour mixture, milk, and beat till smooth. Drop by teaspoons 3 inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Fatten by glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake at 400 º for 12 minutes.
