1 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck

1 small can ( 2/3 cup) undiluted evaporated milk

1 egg

1/2 cup each: chopped green pepper, finely crushed saltine cracker crumbs

1/4 cup grated onion

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon dry mustard

1/4 teaspoon pepper

3 bacon slices, cut in half

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients, except bacon, in large bowl. Mix
until smooth. Shape into an oblong loaf and put onto a baking sheet with raised
sides or in a baking pan. Arrange bacon slices across the top.

2. Bake for 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
