2 to 2½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 packet (1 ounce) Lipton Onion Soup Mix or store brand
8 ounces sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned - if using canned, be sure to drain)
⅓ cup water

Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken breasts in a single layer in cooker and season with pepper. In a bowl, mix condensed soups, onion soup mix, mushrooms and water. Mix well. Pour mixture evenly over chicken. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours. Be sure to adjust cooking times according to how fast/slow your cooker cooks.
When ready, shred chicken using two forks. Serve chicken with the gravy over mashed potatoes, rice or egg noodles with your favorite vegetable.
