1 C Pitted Cherries, and add juice to fill cup
1 C Sugar
2 Tbsp Shortening
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
1 C + 2 Tbsp Flour
1/2 C Nuts
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 Tbsp Water

SAUCE
1 C Brown Sugar
1 C Water
1 Tbsp Flour
2 Tbsp Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together well. Bake 35 - 40 minutes at 375º. While still hot, pour freshly made sauce over the top.

SAUCE
Mix well and cook in saucepan over medium heat until thick.
