5 - 6 C Sliced and Pared Apples
1 C Flour
1/2 to 1 C Sugar, depending on sweetness desired.
1 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1/3 C Shortening, Melted
1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange apples in a 6x10" greased baking dish.
Using a fork, mix together until crumbly flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 egg. Pour in melted shortening and mix well. Sprinkle over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake 30 - 40 minutes at 350º. Serve warm with cream.
