2 TABLESPOONS FINELY CHOPPED ONION
1 TABLESPOON FINE DRY BREAD CRUMBS
1 TABLESPOON SNIPPED FRESH BASIL OR 1 TEASPOON DRIED BASIL, CRUSHED
1/8 TEASPOON SALT
1/8 TEASPOON PEPPER
12 OUNCES GROUND RAW TURKEY
4 LETTUCE LEAVES
4 BURGER BUNS, SPLIT AND TOASTED
CUP DRIED TOMATO MAYONNAISE

1- IN A MEDIUM MIXING BOWL COMBINE THE MILK, ONION, BREAD CRUMBS,BASIL, SALT, AND PEPPER. ADD GROUND TURKEY; MIX WELL. SHAPE MIXTURE INTO FOUR INCH THICK PATTIES
2- 2-GRILL PATTIES AND PLACE ON TOASTED BUNS WITH MAYO DRESSING
3- PREPARE DRIED TOMATO MAYONNAISE:
IN A SMALL MIXING BOWL POUR ENOUGH BOILING WATER OVER 2 TABLESPOONS SNIPPED DRIED TOMATOES (NOT OIL PACKED) TO COVER.LET STAND ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR UNTIL TOMATOES ARE PLIABLE. DRAIN WELL. STIR TOMATOES INTO 1/3 CUP FAT-FREE OR LIGHT MAYONNAISE DRESSING. COVER AND STORE LEFTOVERS IN REFRIGERATOR. MAKES ABOUT CUP.
