1 lb. beef chuck roast, cubed
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or 1 tsp. fresh garlic, chopped)
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 Tbsp. sesame oil

Directions:
Directions:
In a large castiron skillet over med-high heat, brown beef in sesame oil. Add garlic if using fresh. Add soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, and brown sugar. Stir together.

In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch until it is no longer lumpy. Add to beef and stir. Cook until sauce thickens.
