Directions:Preheat oven to 325º. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper or foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
In a mixer bowl with a paddle attachment, add melted butter and cocoa, blend until smooth. Add flour and sugar. Beat together until just combined. Add eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. Mix just until combined. DON"T OVERMIX!! The batter will be thick.
Pour batter into a baking dish and spread out evenly. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before frosting. You want the brownies warm when you frost them.
For the frosting, beat together all ingredients until smooth. Pour and spread over warm brownies. Let cool completely before cutting and serving. |

Notes: I found this recipe looking for my original brownie recipe. I decided to try it and see how close it was to mine. It is nowhere near mine, it is so much better! The first bite brought back memories of the brownies we had in the school cafeteria. Those lunch ladies knew how to make them brownies pop!
