1½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
¾ cup butter
¼ cup plus 2 Tbsp light corn syrup
10 (1¾" thick) slices French bread
4 eggs beaten (may use egg beaters)
2½ cups milk or half and half
1 Tbsp vanilla
¼ tsp salt
3 Tbsp sugar
1½ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup butter melted

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first 3 ingredients in saucepan, cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture is smooth but not boiling.

Pour syrup evenly into greased 9x13 baking dish. Arrange bread slices over syrup.

Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt stir well. Gradually pour mixture over bread. Cover and chill for at least 8 hours.

Combine sugar and cinnamon, stir well. Sprinkle evenly over soaked bread.

Drizzle ¼ cup melted butter over bread.

Bake uncovered 350º 45-50 minutes or until golden and bubbly. Serve immediately.
