6 1/2 pounds apples - peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
2-3 tsp. ground cinnamon or to taste.

Directions:
Directions:
Place the apples in a slow cooker. Top with sugars and cinnamon and mix well.
Cook in slow cooker on low for about 10 hours, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened and dark brown. Adjust sugar if need. I usually start out with 1/2 cup of each and add more if necessary. It will depend on what apples you use and how sweet they are.
