3/4 c. butter-flavored Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:

Cream Crisco and brown sugar together. Add egg, milk, and vanilla. Add oats, flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Mix well. Stir in raisins and pecans.

Preheat oven to 375. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto the baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool on baking sheet 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

This is one of my Mom's cookie recipes. She wrote it in the back of the 1982-83 Cookie Cookbook from Birdwell Elementary School that I attended. She wrote several of her cookies in there and now I can bake them!
