CAKE:
3 heaping cups chopped apples
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1½ cups oil
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
3 eggs, well beaten

TOPPING:
¼ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup milk

CAKE:
Mix all ingredients. This makes a very large cake, so either grease 1-8x13’ sheet cake pan or 2-8” square pans (one for now and freeze one for later)

Bake 350º for 1 hour

TOPPING:
Boil all ingredients for about 4 minutes. Pour over hot cake. I usually poke the cake with a fork first so the topping oozes inside.
