3 Cup Sifted Plain Flour
1 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Shortening
8 to 10 T Ice Water

Directions:

Sift flour and salt; with pastry blender cut in shortening until mixture looks like coarse cornmeal. Sprinkle water 1 tablespoon at a time into mixture and mix gently with a fork. When all is moist, gather into small ball with fingers. Let stand several minutes. Divide dough. On floured surface, roll out dough size needed for pie pan. Always roll from center out to edge. Can be rolled out and placed in pans with plastic wrap between and frozen. Makes four pie crusts.

If used for a cobbler, can bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees.
