3lb. Boneless chuck Roast
1/4 tsp. Of salt
1/4 tsp. Of black pepper
1 envelope (1-oz.) dry onion soup mix
1pkg. (8-oz.) small portabella mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 can of (10.50oz.) cream of mushroom soup

Season Roast with salt and pepper. Place Roast on heavy duty aluminum foil (2 piece crossed to be able to cover Roast and seal) in a 13" x9" x2" Pyrex dish. Sprinkle with dry onion soup mix. Spread mushrooms evenly over Roast. Spread cream of mushroom soup evenly over top . Seal foil tightly and bake at 325 degrees for 3-1/2 hours. Serve with rice
