2 lbs of hamburger
1 pkg of Sweet Italian Sausage
1 32 oz. of Prego Spaghetti sauce
2 slices of GF bread (I like to use white)
1 egg
Almond milk
2 T Italian seasonings
3-4 minced garlic cloves
salt
pepper

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a crockpot pour the jar of Prego in.
2. Cut crust of GF bread and break into small pieces and place in a bowl. Add enough Almond milk to cover bread. Let soak for about 10-15 minutes.
3. Mix hamburger with egg, Italian seasonings, minced garlic,salt and pepper to taste. Add soaked bread (I make sure bread has been soaked enough before pouring into meat mixture. You may not need all the bread mixture).
4. Shape hamburger into balls and place into crock pot.
5. Remove casing of sausage and cut in half. Add to crock pot.
6. Cook on medium for about 8 hours. Depending on your crock pot you may have to cook on low.
7. Serve over GF spaghetti noodles.

This is a famous family recipe handed down by Uncle Clayton. I added the use of the crock pot. He always cooked this over the stove.
