Tomato Bisque Recipe

2 cans of stewed tomatoes
1 can of tomato paste
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 shallot or small red onion finely diced
2 Tbsp. of butter.
1 c. heavy cream
¼ c. water
salt & pepper
basil
parsley
oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a large pot.
Add onion or shallot and cook until soft.
Add garlic and stewed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add to a blender or use immersion blender. Blend until smooth.
Add heavy cream and continue to blend.
Add back to pot, bring back to a simmer.
Add water and tomato paste, parsley, basil, salt and pepper to taste.
Let simmer for about 10 minutes and its ready to serve.
