1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all purpose flour
3 cup heavy cream
¾ cup asiago cheese, shredded
¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
½ tsp fresh ground black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat until melted; add flour and stir, forming a roux. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in heavy cream until the roux dissolves, then bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and whisk in cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper until cheese has melted. Let simmer until the sauce starts to thicken, approximately 5 minutes.

Serve over pasta or vegetables.

If you can't find Asiago cheese, parmesan works great too but make sure to get shredded parmesan and not the grated stuff in the green can!
