Peaches and Cream Cake Recipe

1 pkg (3 oz) Cream Cheese, Softened
1 C Sugar
1 Tbsp Peach Syrup
1/4 C Sour Cream
3 Eggs, divided
3/4 tsp Salt
1/2 C Butter or Margerine
1 C All-purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla

1 - 29oz Can Cling Peach Slices
1 C Sour Cream
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar

Cream together cream cheese and 1/3 C sugar. Beat in sour cream. Add one egg and 1/4 tsp salt; mix well. Set aside. Cream together butter with remaining sugar. Add remaining eggs; beat well. Combine flower, baking powder, and remaining salt. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in vanilla and peach syrup. Spread evenly on bottom and sides of 10-inch pie plate. Spoon in cheese mixture. Bake in 325 oven for 30 - 35 minutes. Remove from oven. Drain peaches. Arrange peach slices on top of cake. Blend 1 C sour cream with brown sugar. Spoon over peaches and continue baking 5 minutes. Chill before serving. Makes 8 - 10 servings.
