7 1/2 cups sugar
1/8 tsp apple pie spice

Directions:
Wash jars and screw bands in soapy water or run through the dishwasher to sanitize. Place jars on kitchen counter ready to be filled with Jelly. Boil the flat lids and leave them in the hot water until ready to use.
Bring to a boil the pear juice, sugar, apple pie spice, and lemon juice. Boil for 4 minutes until sugar is completely dissolved. Add Certo and cook to a rolling boil for 4-6 minutes, stirring constantly. Test jelly by dropping a small amount into a saucer to see if it will gel. If it doesn't gel, allow it to cook for a minute or two longer. Pour into sterilized jars. It may take up to two days for the Jelly to set.
