5 slices bread, toasted, buttered and cut in sixths
3 eggs
½ c. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
3 c. scalded milk
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. raisins
cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs; add sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour on scalded milk. Mix thoroughly. Place cubed bread in casserole. Sprinkle raisins on bread, then pour egg mixture over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 350º or until knife inserted comes out clean.
