1 head lettuce
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. uncooked frozen peas
½ c or one cup sliced onion
1 c. water chestnuts (optional)
2 c. real mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. (8 oz) sour cream
boiled eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Layer the lettuce, celery, peas, onion and chestnuts.

Mix mayonnaise, sugar and sour cream. "Icing" the top of the layered salad with this mix "sealing the edges". Garnish with sliced boiled eggs. Refrigerate until set--about 4 hours.
