3 c. dry pinto beans
6-8 slices bacon or 2 c. diced ham
1/3 c. onion (chopped)
1 bay leaf
1 t. chili powder
1/2 t. celery salt
1 t. garlic salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 t. cumin

Directions:
Directions:
Soak beans overnight. Rinse well. Put bacon or diced ham in bottom of kettle, add beans & seasonings. Cover with water. Cover pan and cook 3 plus hours. (If using the crockpot, cook it all day).
You can either leave the bacon in when serving or you can remove it after the beans are finished cooking.
