2-3 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
3 c. water
1 can tomato sauce
2 can diced tomatoes
3 clove garlic, minced
3 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. Italian seasoning
3 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
2 c. spaghetti noodles broke in half
1 large green bell pepper, chopped
salt & pepper to taste

In a large stockpot, cook meat until no longer pink. Drain. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook about 5 mins. Add water, tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Stir to combine. Add seasonings and stir again. Cover and simmer on low 25-30 minutes. Add noodles and simmer another 20-30 minutes, or until noodles are tender. Remove bay leaves before serving.

This is not like most goulash recipes that we grew up with. I grew up with goulash starting out as spaghetti from a can and some ground beef added to it. Believe me, I was not a fan!

I made this one time for my brother and one of his friends when they were younger. I forgot to take the bay leaf out and they thought I was trying to poison them. BOYS!
