3½ c. granulated sugar
1 c. Karo (syrup)
1 c. water
1 tsp. Loran oil flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and cook to 290º or 300º on candy thermometer or very hard crack stage. Add Loran oil flavoring. Stir.

Pour out on lightly buttered cookie sheet. When cool enough to handle cut with scissors into bite size pieces to have smooth edges. Otherwise let cool completely and crack into pieces with the back of a heavy large spoon.
