2 tbs oil
1tbsp. Ginger paste
1/4 cup Onion very finely chopped
1/2. Cup Raisins
1 Cup wheatlets
11/2 Cups boiled water
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Put a shallow pan on medium heat . Pour oil and ginger paste. Once the ginger is golden add the onion. When the Onion is golden add the raisins . Stir till the raisins are swelled. Add the wheatlets and stir until roasted. Add the boiled water and stir . Turn heat down to very low . Cover it with a lid. Stir again and move it away from the stove. Make sure wheatlets are cooked and the salt is added .

All my grandchildren love it. Especially my Kuttan. One day he told me he dreamed he is eating Uppumava when he came back from Canmore holidays. Though I am not that heathy anymore still made it for them with some help. He loves it when I make balls mixed with banana. With this Covid situation I miss them a lot.
