80 oz. of Van Camp's Pork & Beans (use several cans to add up to around 80 oz)
1 lb. of sausage ( mild or hot) (use it raw, just break off into bite sized pieces)
3/4 cup of light brown sugar
1/2 onion, chopped
1 bottle of Honey Barbeque Sauce (or your favorite)
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Salt & pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients and cook in 350º oven for 45 minutes. I use a lasagna size 9x13 dish and spray it with Pam before putting in the baked beans. A regular 9x13 pan will be too small and they will spill over into the oven while baking. When finished, I put them into a crock pot to keep them warm until time to serve. Or you can do them the day before, and after baking, store them in the refrigerator until about 2-3 hours before serving and put into crock pot then on low to warm up for the meal.
