2 cups Sugar
⅔ cup Corn Syrup
1 cup Water


choose:
¼ Tsp Cinnamon extract
¼ Tsp Cassia
¼ Tsp Peppermint
1 Tsp Wintergreen
1 Tsp Lime
1 Tsp Orange
2-3 Tsp Lemon

Powered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the first 3 ingredients in a heavy bottom saucepan over medium to high heat stir until all dissolves.
Insert candy thermometer in liquid without resting on the bottom of the pan.
Cook to 310º F.
Add food coloring and flavor.
Grease cookie sheet pan.
Pour hot liquid onto cookie sheet.
Cool.
Cut as soon as able to handle.
Roll in powdered sugar

Usually made 1-2 batches at Christmas.

While rolling cinnamon candy in sugar I pretend slapped Michelle's cheek leaving sugar fingerprints. OOPS It left red welts on her face. That's how we found she was allergic to cinnamon.
