4 T. butter - melt butter over low heat, add
4 T. flour -blend in- cook until blended
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
2 c. milk
1 c. sharp Colby or cheddar cheese
8 oz dry macaroni
2 c. crushed saltine or goldfish crackers
Dash paprika

Preheat oven to 350

Melt butter over low heat. Add equal amount of flour, then salt and pepper. Cook until blended. Remove from heat. Pour in milk, whisk until smooth. Bring to boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened. Add cheese and stir until smooth.

Meanwhile cook 8 oz of macaroni.

Mix together. Put in baking dish, top with crushed crackers that have been browned in butter and sprinkle paprika on top. Bake at 350 about 30-40 minutes until golden brown on top.
