c. vinegar
1 c. water
c. sugar
4 t. prepared mustard
t. pepper
t. cayenne pepper
1 t. salt
2 or three thick lemon slices
2 med. onions, sliced
c. butter or margarine
1 c. ketchup
3 T. Worcestershire sauce
4 c. roast beef cut into strips or shredded

Directions:
Directions:
In Dutch oven, combine vinegar, water, sugar, mustard, peppers, salt, lemon slices, and butter. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.

Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and beef. Best made ahead, chilled, and reheated. (you can slow cook the beef a day ahead in
crock pot).

Serve over hamburger buns.
