5 c. flour
2 egg yolks watered to make 1 big
1½ c. crisco
1½ tsp. salt
4 tsp. sugar
½ tsp. baking powder
POWDERED FROSTING:
milk
butter flavoring
powdered sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening and flour. Add rest of dry ingredients. Add liquid. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Divide in ½ and roll one crust for bottom and one for top.
Add sweeter apples. Bake in 18"x13" pan. Drizzle powdered frosting on top.
