1 ½ c canned pumpkin
¼ c white sugar
¾ c brown sugar

½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 T molasses
2 eggs
1 c canned milk
⅔ c white milk
2 T melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
This makes a 9” pie. Blend all ingredients together in mixer. Pour into single pie crust. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes and decrease to 350 and bake an additional 40-50 minutes.
For a 10” deeper pie I do 1 1/2 times the filling amount and it takes longer to bake. You may want to cover crust to keep from getting too brown.

Number Of Servings:
6-8 depending on pie size

Personal Notes:
Mary Thomas: This recipe is from my mother-in-law Laura Thomas. It calls for a few more ingredients than you see on the pumpkin can but we’ve always thought it makes for a better tasting pie!
